Do you imagine getting married at a private intimate ceremony in a beautiful rustic, old Charleston setting?  Look no further than The Heart Garden, Charleston’s wedding gem.

Charleston’s Wedding Gem

The garden is located behind the St. John’s Reformed Episcopal Church. The garden came to life at the 1997 Spoleto Festival.

First, the gate is where the iron work was designed by by Phillip Simmons, and crafted by Carlton Simmons (nephew) and Joseph Pringle (cousin).

As you walk through the gates, you are greeted by a unique walkway.  The heart shaped pavers were contributed and laid by Pearl Fryar along with the centerpiece of the garden which is from his personal garden.

Enjoy the scents of the plants, the beauty of the design, and the privacy you desire for your intimate wedding ceremony or elopement.

Contract includes permit fee for venue.
